Frequently asked questions
Will my bike fit?
The bike box is designed to fit most road/gravel bikes across a wide range of frame sizes. If you’re on the taller side, you may need to lower your saddle when packing. The maximum distance between the chainring and the top of the saddle should be 85cm. Full box specifications can be found here.
How do you accept payments?
Payment can be made via bank transfer or cash.
How long will it take to pack my bike?
Packing and unpacking typically takes around 30 minutes. If it’s your first time, allow a little longer. We recommend packing the day before your flight for peace of mind.
Do you deliver?
Collection is preferred from our BS4 location. If this isn’t possible, get in touch and we can discuss delivery for a small fee.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes – a £100 deposit is required. This is fully refunded when the box is returned, provided there is no critical damage. Minor scuffs and scrapes caused by airline handling are expected.
How long can I hire the bike box for?
Hire periods are flexible and based around your travel dates – there is no minimum period. Just let us know when you’re flying out and returning, and we’ll confirm availability and pricing.
